Sword cane, grim reaper dagger among items stolen

The following public records are from the Roswell Police Department and can be viewed at rpdp2c.org. All people arrested or cited are presumed innocent.

Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of West Second Street Dec. 28 at 10:47 a.m. in reference to a burglary. A sword, two sword canes, a dagger with a cobra head for a handle, a hand grenade paperweight, a grim reaper knife, a Timex watch, 80 Mexican coins, a silverware set, a lighter and 2,000 pennies, all with a combined value of $860, were reported stolen.

Arrests/citations

Marissa Peralta was charged with shoplifting $140.17 worth of items in the 4500 block of North Main Street Dec. 27 at 8:39 p.m.

Joseph Emanuel Perez was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Dec. 28 at 3:25 a.m. in the 800 block of El Dora Drive.

Ruben Nathan Delacerda was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Dec. 30 at 10:07 a.m. in the 800 block of West Eighth Street.

Christian Chavez was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Jan. 1 at 7:23 a.m. in the 1200 block of West Hobbs Street.

Kenneth Green was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Jan. 2 at 12:53 a.m. in the 2000 block of North Main Street.

Shawntell Mcniel Yslas was charged with falsely obtaining services or accommodations Dec. 28 at 6:21 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Main Street.

Jacquelyn Mae Salas was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Jan. 2 at 8:35 p.m. in the 1100 block of South Sunset Avenue.

Arson/criminal damage

Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of West Third Street Dec. 27 at 8:46 a.m. in reference to a criminal damage call. A 1997 Dodge Ram and a 2015 Look trailer were egged and sustained a combined $700 in damage.

Police responded to the 800 block of Twin Diamond Drive Dec. 27 at 6:14 p.m. in reference to a criminal damage call. A rear window valued at $800 on a 1996 Toyota was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of East Matthews Street Jan. 1 at 12:24 a.m. in reference to a report of criminal damage. A back window valued at $200 on a 2017 Hyundai was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched to the 600 block of South Lea Avenue Jan. 1 at 2:26 a.m. in reference to a criminal damage call. A back windshield valued at $500 on a 2017 Nissan was reported damaged.

Police responded to a call in the 500 block of West McGaffey Street Jan. 3 at 2:31 a.m. in reference to an unknown trouble. A window valued at $200 was reported damaged.

Larceny/theft

An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of North Ohio Avenue Dec. 28 at 10:47 a.m. in reference to a vehicle burglary of a 2005 Toyota. A Mia purse, a leather wallet and a pair of keys with a combined value of $80 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of South Atkinson Street Dec. 29 at 11:58 p.m. in reference to a burglary. A 2004 Chevy Impala was reported stolen and a barbed-wire fence valued at $200 was reported damaged.

Police responded to a call in the 1100 block of North Delaware Avenue Dec. 28 at 2:24 p.m. in reference to the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. A 2007 Chevy Avalanche was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of West Second Street Dec. 30 at 8:43 p.m. in reference to the embezzlement of a Nissan Altima.

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of South Washington Avenue Dec. 31 at 9:19 p.m in reference to a larceny. A Craftsman impact driver, a wallet and a Moto cellphone with a combined value of $290 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 500 block of East Albuquerque Street Jan. 1 at 9:53 a.m. in reference to a stolen vehicle. A 1997 Ford F-150 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of East Albuquerque Street Jan. 1 at 9:38 a.m. in reference to a vehicle burglary. A blue purse with flowers on the outside valued at $15, a Social Security card, credit and debit cards valued at $500, and an ID card were reported stolen.
