Three teen suspects arrested in vehicle burglaries

Three juveniles who are believed to have committed a rash of local vehicle burglaries were apprehended by Roswell Police Thursday night.

The three teenage males were arrested and charged with burglary while committing a vehicle burglary in west Roswell, according to a post on the Facebook page of the Roswell Police Department.

The three juveniles were not identified by name or age in the post.

According to the post, a citizen flagged down an RPD sergeant at about 9 p.m. and let him know about a vehicle burglary that was underway in the area of the 1600 block of West Third Street.

The three teenage males initially fled the scene, but were quickly found and taken into custody.

A subsequent investigation determined the three males are believed to have committed at least six vehicle burglaries, the post states.

One or more of the burglaries took place in the Enchanted Hills area.
