The Roswell Museum and Art Center is seeking individuals to serve as volunteer docents.

Docents are educators who provide learning experiences to school children and general visitors.

Program participants will go through a training course to help provide the support and resources that will allow volunteers to act confidently as they provide guided tours of the exhibitions and assist with hands-on activities.

For more information or to apply, contact Curator of Education Amanda Nicholson at a.nicholson@roswell-nm.gov or 575-500-0352. The museum is located at 1011 N. Richardson Ave., just north of the Roswell Convention Center.

The museum also has announced its winter art and astronomy classes for youth, teens and adults. For more information, call 575-624-6744 or register at roswellconnect.com.
