On December 30th, Nikki Joe Montoya unexpectedly passed away in Dexter, NM. Nikki called both Roswell and Pojoaque home. He was age 48.

Nikki was born on May 2, 1971 in Roswell, NM and graduated from Pojoaque High School in 1989.

Nikki was a man of GOD and a very strong believer in the LORD. Our family’s hearts are shaken from his sudden death but have comfort knowing he has gone to heaven to be with our LORD and Savior.

Nikki was a very talented journey man electrician, volunteer firefighter and passionate artist.

During his younger years, Nikki’s interest and hobbies included dirt biking, playing the drums, hunting, playing foot ball and baseball. Recently he and his two cousins, Wes and David, worked on their home remodeling and were seen as the 3 amigos. He had a creative imagination for home remodeling projects and was always willing to help family and friends on home repairs.
