Jesus Frankie (Johnny) Samario

Funeral services and burial will be Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at South Park Cemetery with Pastor Eugene DelosSantos officiating. Frank passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Mt. View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM. Frank was born July 23, 1955 to Frank Samario Sr and Beatrice Orona in Roswell, NM.

Frank loved lowriders and was president of Justice Car Club, which he founded with his good friend Ernesto Estrada. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church where he received all his sacraments and was also an altar boy and attended St. John’s Catholic School. Frank was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. He worked for the City of Roswell for 37 years. He also worked for TMC and was a janitor for municipal court. He enjoyed going to the casino and always helping others.

Frank is survived by his children Michael Samario, Gabriel Samario, Gilbert Contreras & his wife Terry, Isaac Sanchez, Melanie Samario, Jesse Samario and stepson Jacob Gonzales. All of his beloved grandchildren; his brother Richard Brady, sister Jane Orona and brother-in-law Rudy Guevara; nephews Moe and Erica Orona and family; Adrian Orona and family; Lorenzo Cobos and family; along with other nephews and nieces; and his beloved aunts.

Frank was preceded in death by his sons Andy Samario and Frankie Samario III; his mother Beatrice Orona and father Frank Samario Sr.; his grandparents Lorenzita and Jake Mireles; Consuelo and Florentino Samario; brother Moises Orona and sister Rita Miranda.

Pallbearers will be Moe Orona, godson Moises Orona Jr., Adrian Orona, Lorenzo Cobos, Raulo Orona, Joy Ray Cobos, Gilbert Contreras and Anthony Miranda.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Alfred Tavarez Jr., Emily Brady, Doug Thyberg, Gabriel Samario, Eric Orona, goddaughter Ashley Tavares & Nathaniel Tavarez.
