A man was attacked as he entered his home in east Roswell late Monday night and a pair of attackers stole TVs and the man’s pickup truck, according to information released Tuesday by the Roswell Police Department.

The 48-year-old victim arrived home in the 500 block of East Tilden Street at about 11 p.m. and was unlocking his front door when he was struck in the back of the head with a blunt object. The victim was then pushed into the house and held down on the floor by one of the attackers while the other suspect ransacked the home and took three TVs.

The victim’s pickup keys were taken and the attackers stole the pickup. Five hours later, the pickup was located abandoned several blocks away.

The victim, who had been at the Variety Bar in the 1100 block of West Second Street before returning home, did not get a look at the suspects while he was being held on the floor.

He was unable to provide any descriptions, according to an RPD press release.
