Arrests/citations

Rebecca Contreras was charged with possession of controlled substances, possession prohibited, Jan. 3 at 12:41 a.m. in the 3000 block of South Atkinson Avenue.

Benjamin Lee Olivas-Gonzales was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Jan. 3 at 11:13 p.m. in the 500 block of South Virginia Avenue.

Jerad Lee Thomas was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Jan. 4 at 10:58 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Washington Avenue.

Jorge Mendoza was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Jan. 5 at 3:58 a.m. in the zero block of Sunshine Place.

Felix Tommy Vallejos was charged with disturbing the contents of a trash receptacle Jan. 5 at 5:14 p.m. in the 100 block of South Lea Avenue.

Keith Lloyd Bradley was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Jan. 6 at 4:13 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Sunset Avenue.

Nadia Lynn Madrid was charged with possession, delivery/manufacture of drug paraphernalia, Jan. 9 at 2 p.m. in the 100 block of West Second Street.

Arson/criminal damage

Police were dispatched to the 600 block of West Frazier Street Jan. 3 at 7:53 a.m. in reference to a criminal damage report. A 1983 Chevy Camaro and a wall were reported spraypainted, resulting in a combined $1,500 in damage.

An officer responded to an unknown trouble in the 500 block of West McGaffey Street Jan. 3 at 2:31 a.m. A window on a 1997 Buick Skylark and another window with a combined value of $1,200 were reported damaged.

An officer responded to the 1900 block of South Sunset Avenue Jan. 4 at 12:20 a.m. in reference to a criminal damage report. A bedroom window valued at $100 was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched to the 800 block of North Main Street Jan. 7 at 9:25 a.m. in reference to a criminal damage report. A door handle and a key ignition switch, each valued at $400, on a 2015 Ford were reported damaged.

An officer responded Jan. 7 at 6:24 p.m. to a criminal damage report in the 900 block of North Atkinson Avenue following a vehicle collision. A rear bumper valued at $100 was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched to the 800 block of South Main Street Jan. 8 at 8:35 a.m. in reference to a report of criminal damage. A window valued at $100 was reported damaged.

Larceny/theft

Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of South Main Street Jan. 3 at 10:25 a.m. in reference to a report that a catalytic converter valued at $500 was stolen.

Police responded Jan. 5 at 11:17 a.m. to the 1000 block of Mullis Avenue in reference to a vehicle burglary. A brown leather holster, a Glock 23 handgun, a Glock magazine, a plastic magazine holder and ammunition with a combined value of $680 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of West Albuquerque Street Jan. 5 at 6:10 a.m. in reference to the burglary of a 2019 Nissan. A phone charger, a Craftsman toolbox with a complete tool set, a school ID badge and school books with a combined value of $470 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of East Seventh Street Jan. 4 at 11:47 p.m. in reference to a larceny. A jacket and a pair of tennis shoes with a combined value of $130 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of Princeton Drive Jan. 5 at 3:50 p.m. in reference to a larceny. An air filter from a BMW, an air filter from a Porsche, two BMW oil filters, two Porsche oil filters and a vacuum pump from a BMW with a combined value of $237 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 4500 block of North Main Street Jan. 5 at 5:20 p.m. in reference to a shoplifting. A motor scooter valued at $200 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of North Main Street Jan. 6 at 10:41 a.m. in reference to a vehicle burglary. Two shotguns, a box of shotgun shells and a pair of headphones, with a combined value of $620, were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of East Second Street Jan. 6 at 7:16 a.m. in reference to a larceny. Four propane tanks with a combined value of $211.96 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of East Tilden Street Jan. 6 at 11 a.m. in reference to an unknown trouble. A 1993 Chevy pickup was reported stolen. A 50-inch TV, a 32-inch flat-screen TV and a key with a combined value of $751 were reported stolen.

An officer responded to a call from the 700 block of South Plaza Drive Jan. 7 at 5:54 p.m. in reference to a burglary. Three saddles with a combined value of $1,450 were reported stolen from a 1999 Ford Ranger.

Police responded to a larceny in the 1900 block of North Atkinson Avenue Jan. 7 at 5:57 p.m. A 50-foot extension cord, a license plate and wiring with a combined value of $280 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 2000 block of South Barnett Drive Jan. 8 at 5:22 a.m. in reference to a larceny. A tailgate valued at $500 was stolen from a 2009 Dodge Ram.

Police were dispatched to the 900 block of South Plains Park Jan. 9 at 5:18 p.m. in reference to a vehicle burglary. Three nail guns, a compressor hose, a DeWalt air impact wrench and a Porter electric air compressor with a combined value of $1,180 were reported stolen.
