Manuela Cepeda was born on September 5, 1956 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Eustaquio and Diega Cepeda. She went to join our Lord on January 10, 2020.

Manuela worked at the Levi Strauss Corp for about 10 years. Afterwards, she met her husband, Edel Octavio Apodaka & entered the restaurant business. They started out as Octavio’s Restaurant and then later moved on to Burrito Factory. She loved cooking & interacting with customers. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She often enjoyed staying at home to tend to her garden. She always a beautiful woman who woke up ready for the day, dressed to the nines & with her full makeup look done. Manuela loved her very special pets, Chicharro & Bonita, dearly & treated them with tender love & care. She would cook them homemade meals & enjoy their company.

Those left to cherish Manuela’s memory are her husband Edel Octavio Apodaka; her kiddos Javier Cepeda, Carlos & wife Flor Moreno, Ananelly Moreno, Joel & wife Angelica Apodaka, Wally Fabian Apodaka; grandchildren Andres Quintana, Javier Jr. Cepeda, Alejandro Cepeda, Alonzo Moreno, Clarissa Moreno, Kassandra & Karly Apodaka, Julieanne, Adrianna, Arianna, Julian Dimas “Uno” & Brianna Leos, Zabian M. Apodaka, Zdela M. Apodaka; great-grandchildren Jesus Fabian & Alissandra Poblano; siblings Juan Cepeda, Rafael & wife Theresa Cepeda, Martin & wife Sandra Cepeda, Rosa Cepeda; nieces & nephews Gabriel, Sofia, Carol, Yesenia, Juanito, Daniel, Annalee, Leyla, Tania, Miguel, Uriel, Karina & Thomas; pets Peewee, Monchies & Brandy.

Preceding Manuela in death are Wally Fabian Apodaka; grandparents Jesus Manuel Cepeda & Sofia a La Torre Cepeda, Gregorio & Juana Frias.

Services will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, January 16th. Viewing is from 9am-6pm. Rosary is from 6pm-8pm. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery on Friday, January 17th at 10am. Pallbearers are Carlos, Javier, Edel, Daniel, Rene, Alonzo, Joel, Jorge & Martin. Honorary Pallbearers are Uno, Brianna, Jesus, Alissandra, Arianna, Julieanne, Adrianna, Clarrissa, Kassandra, Karly, Flor & Ananelly.

A family gathering and memorial will be held following burial.
