December 13, 1951 – January 13, 2020
Otilia Fuentes Gonzalez, born December 13, 1951, passed Monday, January 13, 2020, lived in Roswell, NM, since 1997. Otilia graduated from Balmorhea High School in 1971, and worked at the State of Texas as a community service aide I for over twenty years before she retired.
Otilia “Tia Tillie” was a very loving, caring person known for all her cooking, especially red chili, Thanksgiving stuffing, and tortillas. She always fed everyone and had her arms open to them at any time. Otilia will be remembered for taking care of others before herself. She accepted everyone new into our family without judgment, and she always made everyone feel at home. “Momma, you were loved by everyone.” She loved art crafting, scrapbooking, and her grandkids were her life. Otilia also loved music and dancing, most of all cooking and being with family. Taking pictures of everyone was one of her favorite things and with anyone as long as she was wearing her lipstick. Otilia’s smile would light up a room. She was such a blessing, and her loving heart will be dearly missed by everyone.
“Love you, Momma, say hi to grandma and grandpa for us.”
