Mesa Middle School students are volunteering their time to help Roswell Community Disaster Relief Services in its efforts. That organization, according to a Daily Record story published in July, “rounds up workers, supplies and donations to answer requests for help.” Requests can include help for the homeless and repair projects for residents in need. According to Mesa Middle School social studies teacher Veronica Flores, students recently prepared the Roswell Community Disaster Relief Services bus for its missions. Pictured are the students with the bus after their preparation efforts were completed. The students plan to continue working with the organization, Flores said. (Submitted Photo)
