The city of Roswell’s Water Billing department has established a new phone menu to assist callers in reaching the proper departments.
The water billing office often receives calls relevant to other departments, according to a press release issued by the city. With the new recorded phone menu, people will be able to transfer their own call using their phone keypad. The menu offers connections to Sanitation, Sewer/Wastewater and Central Control, which can be reached after hours to report a variety of issues.
Callers who need to speak to water billing personnel will have the options of selecting from topics that include customer service and billing questions, payment arrangements and other utility questions.
A city announcement indicates that the new phone menu system is meant to provide a more efficient means for people to reach the department and personnel that can best meet their needs and answer their questions.
