The new Flight Lounge at Roswell Air Center will celebrate its grand opening this Thursday. The event will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the air center terminal (1 Jerry Smith Circle) with a ribbon-cutting to take place at 4:45 p.m.

“The Roswell Air Center is pleased to announce the grand opening of the Flight Lounge,” said Air Center Deputy Director Mark Bleth. “We appreciate the community’s patience in this endeavor and we believe we have done a fantastic remodel that does justice to the world-class research and flight-testing facility that it sits in the middle of. We are proud of this new amenity for the benefit of our passengers, customers, tenants and citizens. We look forward to welcoming you to the Flight Lounge in the near future!”

The new facility will offer restaurant, bar and winery services. It is being operated by Pecos Flavors Winery and Bistro.

“We are very excited to service the community of Roswell, surrounding areas, the Roswell Air Center and local businesses,” said Joshua Ragsdale, operator of Pecos Flavors Winery and Bistro, The Liberty, and the Flight Lounge. “We look forward to providing a place for new dining and beverage options and are thrilled to partner with the City Roswell.”

The grand-opening event is open to the public. Light refreshments will be available.
