The Roswell Public Library was briefly on lockdown Thursday night after a threat of a possible shooting.
Police received a call on Thursday at about 6:15 p.m. to report overhearing someone possibly making a shooting threat at the library, according to Todd Wildermuth, public information officer with the Roswell Police Department.
People on the scene were questioned and the library was searched by officers.
“It was determined no actual threat existed there,” Wildermuth said.
No arrests were made, according to Wildermuth.
