Report: Shoplifter targets iPhone, Fisher-Price tablet

The following public records are from the Roswell Police Department and can be viewed at rpdp2c.org. All people arrested or cited are presumed innocent.

An officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of North Main Street Jan. 20 at 6:18 p.m. in reference to an in-progress shoplifting. An iPhone valued at $249.99 and a Fisher-Price tablet valued at $19.99 were reported stolen.

Arrests/citations

Mishallan Shanae Santana Gonzales-Buckham was charged with controlled substances, possession prohibited, Jan. 18 at 12:30 a.m. in the 300 block of South Sycamore Avenue.

Ramon Trujillo Loya was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Jan. 18 at 1:32 a.m. in the 1600 block of Jackson Drive.

Jason Wayne Henry was charged with cruelty to animals, extreme cruelty to animals, Jan. 22 at 9 a.m. in the 500 block of North Main Street.

Alex Sanchez was charged with resisting, evading or obstructing an officer Jan. 22 at 4:06 a.m. in the 1000 block of South Garden Avenue.

Milly Ari Garcia was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Jan. 23 at 12:44 a.m. in the 2000 block of West Second Street.

Arson/criminal damage

Police responded Jan. 17 at 7:23 p.m. in reference to a disorderly subject in the 600 block of South Union Avenue. A house door valued at $500 was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of North Kentucky Avenue Jan. 18 at 7:56 a.m. in reference to the burglary of a 2002 Dodge. A window valued at $200 was reported damaged, and a key valued at $10 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of West Second Street Jan. 19 at 7:19 p.m. in reference to criminal damage. A windshield valued at $500 was reported damaged on a 2019 Nissan.

An officer responded to a report of criminal damage in the 600 block of South Fruitland Drive Jan. 20 at 12:10 a.m. A car tire valued at $250 was reported damaged.

An officer responded to the 300 block of North Union Avenue Jan. 21 at 4:59 p.m. in reference to a burglary, non-forced. A door valued at $100 was reported damaged. A water hose and a faucet with a combined value of $102 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Bonita Drive Jan. 22 at 5:27 p.m. in reference to criminal damage. The right rear quarter panel of a 2019 Infinity was reported to have sustained $100 in damage after it was scratched.

An officer was dispatched to the 900 block of East Jefferson Street Jan. 23 at 8:50 a.m. in reference to criminal damage. A 2007 Chevy was reported to have sustained damage valued at $1,000 when its paint was keyed.

Larceny/theft

Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Stanton Avenue Jan. 18 at 4:47 p.m. in reference to a domestic disturbance. Cash in the amount of $270 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of North Main Street Jan. 18 at 10 p.m. in reference to a stolen 1997 Toyota Camry. A wallet valued at $5 along with a driver’s license and a Social Security card were also reported stolen.

An officer responded to a reported larceny of a bicycle Jan. 19 at 8:38 a.m. in the 3000 block of North Main Street. Two bicycles, each valued at $100, were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of West Second Street Jan. 20 at 8:52 a.m. in reference to a vehicle burglary of a 2019 Dodge. A driver’s side window valued at $100 was reported damaged and vehicle keys valued at $100 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the zero block of East Wells Street Jan. 21 at 7:22 a.m. in reference to a vehicle burglary of a 2013 Chevy Silverado. Cash in the amount of $50 and a semi-automatic handgun valued at $200 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the area of Albuquerque Street and Pennsylvania Avenue Jan. 23 at 4 a.m. to assist officers. A 2014 Dodge Ram was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of East Fifth Street Jan. 23 at 7:19 p.m. in reference to criminal damage. A gas meter valued at $100 was reported damaged.
