Our loving Husband, Dad and Grandpa, Selso Nelson Gonzales, 83, went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2019, in San Antonio, Texas where he has resided for the past 4 years.

Selso was born in Roswell, New Mexico on December 8, 1936 to Sofia Nelson Gonzales and Manuel Gonzales.

He married the love of his life, Sally Luna Gonzales on January 20, 1957.

He began his career in the 1960s with New Mexico Transportation Company (TNM&O) and retired in the early 2000s. His love of the transportation industry and all of the people he met through the years gave him great joy.

Selso was never one to sit still. He was very often found outdoors gardening, riding his bike, walking his beloved dog Shasta and enjoying nature, sunshine and the fresh air. He loved learning about any subject, especially history and was a self-taught artist who created beautiful oil paintings.
