Literacy Council helps family become US citizens

Maria Avalos, her daughter-in-law, Karen B. Avalos and Karen’s brother, Ricardo A. Vasquez are proud United States citizens. All three completed citizenship classes offered at the Roswell Literacy Council. Maria has been a citizen for over a year now but Karen and Ricardo recently obtained theirs with the assistance of a Roswell Literacy Council instructor, Boguslaw Mikolajek, better known as Mr. Bo.
