Roswell Literacy Council announces new United States citizenship classes

The Roswell Literacy Council announces it will be starting new citizenship classes on Tuesday, Feb. 18 for individuals 16 years of age or older who are interested in becoming U.S. citizens. Classes will be taught in English, but one instructor does speak Spanish and encourages all Spanish-speaking persons interested in completing the class to sign up. Literacy Council instructors have many years of experience with a high success rate.

Classes are free but early registration is required and seating is limited. Classes take approximately three months to complete and will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. each week. The Literacy Council’s office is located at 609 W. 10th St., and is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
