WESST, an SBA Women’s Business Center, would like to thank the Strive event speakers Hope Morales, Amanda Mason, Kim Stecklein Halstead, Christie Mann-Crocker, Tanna Johnson, Jennifer Whitcamp, Elaine Dotts, Felecia Harvey and Melinda Creamer. Each speaker shared an even more inspiring life story; at the end of each one’s speech, I was sure that was my ‘favorite’ until I heard the next!

United Way Women’s Project, thank you for investing in WESST so that we could focus our efforts on women in our community. I hope you know that grant monies did indeed encourage, inspire and uplift women in our community. Additionally, thank you to Sergio Salas and the Elks for hosting our November Saturday event and thank you First American Bank and Manuela Ramirez for allowing us to use your community room in January and February.

And, thank you to the many women (and a few men) in our community who took time to share a couple of hours with us at these events. Your attendance and participation in these events make all the hard work feel more like fun. And a big thank you to Hope Morones for all the hard work she did in helping me plan, organize, get things ready for each event!

Finally, we appreciate you, the Roswell Daily Record, for always putting our events in the paper to reach an even bigger audience.
