ROBERT “BOBBY” ORTEGA III, 20, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Robert’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: A Rosary will be recited for Robert at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at 6:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Monday, February 24, 2020, 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

On December 16, 1999, Robert was born in Roswell, New Mexico, to Melanie and Eliuth Salcido. He graduated from Roswell High School in 2018. Robert was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, they would chill at the car wash, listen to music, and play basketball. Robert’s greatest joy in life was playing with his son, Ryan. He was the light of his life and loved taking him to the park and spending time with him. Robert will be profoundly missed by his family and friends.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Robert are his girlfriend, Vanessa Clements; son, Ryan A. Ortega; parents, Eliuth and Melanie Salcido; siblings: Mayra, Eliuth (EJ) Salcido; grandparents: Jose Luis and Rosalba Salcido; aunts and uncles: Denise Gonzalez, Tio Robert, Rick and Martha Barela, Johnny and Antoinette Barela, and Niko Gonzales; nieces and nephews: Milenna, Ulisses, Nikolai, Roberto, Ricky, Brielle, Audrina; cousins: Markie, Alicia, , and Lysette Molinar, Alexys and Isaac Valverde; Godparents, Yolanda Anchondo and Jerome Chavez; and close friends: Izaiah Pacheco, Andrew Collier and family, and Brandon Perez.

PRECEDED: Robert is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ysabel Green and Alicia Bonilla.
