William ‘Bill’ Shue

William “Bill” Shue, age 82, of Roswell passed away on Tuesday, February 18th. He was born to the home of Floyd and Velma Shue on December 6, 1937 in Sanilac County, Michigan.

Bill served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. After his honorable service to our country, he was discharged in 1962 and moved to California where he lived for many years working as a painting contractor. In 1993, Bill met the love of his life Karen Thoene, a country girl, and her two sons Colt and Clay. For over 26 years, Bill and Karen were a loving couple.

They moved to Roswell in 2006. Bill volunteered at the Roswell Police Department where learned and developed the skill of fingerprinting. Later, this would lead him to have his own fingerprinting business in Roswell. Bill drove a bus for Pecos Transit and both school bus companies and well as transporting patients for We Care Transportation. He simply loved to drive. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Westminster Presbyterian Church

Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
