Eva Servantez Olivares “Lovie”

Funeral services will be held 10 am, Friday, March 13, 2020 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eugene De Los Santos of Iglesia Bautista el Calvario officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 pm to 7 pm, Thursday, March 12, 2020 also at Ballard Funeral Home.

Eva passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 with her loved ones by her side in Albuquerque, NM. She was born May 31, 1965 in Roswell, NM to Richard and Betty Servantez. Eva married Jose Olivares which he would call her his “Lovie” of 25 years of being with each other.

She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and a loving grandmother. She loved her babies.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Jose Olivares; father Richard Servantez, siblings Ricky, Prescilla (Ernie) and Christie; her children Richard Ray, Bernadette “Flaca”, Yvette (Jorge), Joseph “O” (Ashley), Bobby “Bubbas” and Robert Servantez; 15 grandchildren Issac, Annalisa Sanchez, Unique Servantez, Petra Servantez, Madysha, Fred, Eva Montano, Joseph “O”, Kassandra “O”, Miguel “O”, Phillip J. Lente, Mario Montoya, Lorenzo J., Abella M. and Emily Jo Lente; step-children Carlos (Cindy) Olivares and Rein Olivares and 13 step-grandchildren.

Eva is preceded in death by her mother Betty; nieces Brandi Rene Servantez, Vanessa Hatch; grandmother Sara, grandparents Pedro and Petra Servantez; aunts Bonnie and Juana and uncles Robert, Pete and Eddie.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Richard Ray Servantez, Joseph “O” Lente, Bobby J. Lente, Issac Sanchez, Isaiah Servantez and Carlos Olivares. Honorary pallbearers are Cadillac Olivares and Robert Servantez.

Everyone loved to be around her not only for the charismatic personality she had but because of the love she showed for her family and friends. A great listener and very conscious of their feelings and emotions, she easily put people at ease and made them comfortable around her.
