On April 25, 1945, Virginia was born to Abel and Augustina (Villescas) Brady in Roswell, New Mexico, and graduated from ENMU-R. Virginia was the beloved wife of Francisco “Frank” Gonzales, whom she married on June 24, 1966, in Roswell, New Mexico. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Virginia was part of the Fathers and Brothers of the Maryknoll Foundation. Prior to retirement, she worked for over thirty years as a Preschool Teacher at the Roswell Head Start Center. Virginia’s pastime interest was going to the casino for “Therapy.”

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, with a sense of humor and was adored by all who knew her. All who were lucky enough to have known Virginia knew her as a kind and gentle soul who dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was spending time and making memories with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; they were the light of her life. Her presence will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
