Long lines for COVID-19 testing at Wool Bowl

Cars line up on North Garden Avenue waiting to get into the Wool Bowl parking lot for COVID-19 testing Thursday morning. At 8:45 a.m., the line stretched west onto 19th Street. State health officials screened people in the drive-up facility for symptoms and any possible exposure to the coronavirus to determine if they could pass through to the testing area. As of Thursday, no confirmed cases had been reported locally. The number of confirmed cases across New Mexico stood at 35 on Thursday, in the following areas: Bernalillo County, 20; Sandoval County, 4; San Miguel County, 1; Santa Fe County, 7; Socorro County, 2; and Taos County, 1.
