STANLEY ROGERS, 80, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020. No services will be held at this time. Celebrate Stanley’s life by visiting www.andersonbethany.com to offer a memory or expression of sympathy for his family.

On October 18, 1939, Stanley was born to Russell and Thelma Rogers in Artesia, New Mexico. He graduated from Artesia High School and later attended college at Purdue University, where he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. Prior to retirement, he worked as a gas compressor repair specialist. Stanley’s favorite pastime was supporting his grandsons in their sporting activities. His interest, aside from family and work, included watching the Denver Broncos and Chicago Cubs games. Stanley will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

SURVIVORS: Those left to treasure memories of Stanley are his children: Karen Rogers Melton (Ray), Reese Rogers (Joan), Jay Fowler (Renee); grandchildren; Reese and Raynen Melton; brother-in-law, Richard Henderson; and close friend, Ron Ballew.

PRECEDED: Stanley was preceded in death by his loving wife Paula Rogers; parents, Russell and Thelma Rogers; and sisters: Barbara Henderson and Mary Bly.

The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to Chris Hicks for taking such good care of Stanley in his final days.
