Police respond to multiple theft, burglary calls

The following public records are from the Roswell Police Department and can be viewed at rpdp2c.org. All people arrested or cited are presumed innocent.

 

Arrests/citations

Nicholas James Torres was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs April 3 at 10:45 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Walnut Street.

Angela Montoya was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs April 4 at 1:11 a.m. in the 2000 block of South Main Street.

Ashley Rene Erven was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs April 4 at 11:29 a.m. in the 1700 block of North Missouri Avenue.

Eric Shangraw was charged with bribery, intimidation of a witness, retaliation against a witness April 7 at 7:32 p.m. in the 300 block of East Albuquerque Street.

April Jojola was charged with resisting, evading or obstructing an officer April 10 at 5:38 a.m. in the 3300 block of North Main Street.

 

Arson/criminal damage

Officers responded April 3 at 3:36 p.m. to a call in the 1000 block of North Greenwood Avenue in reference to criminal damage. The backdoor of a residence, valued at $100, and a bedroom mirror valued at $150 were reported damaged.

An officer responded to a call regarding a vehicle burglary April 6 at 6:32 a.m. in the 100 block of West 12th Street. A plate box valued at $300 was reported stolen and a passenger side window valued at $500 was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched April 6 at 3:24 a.m. to the 1600 block of Juniper Street in reference to an attempted vehicle burglary of a 2000 Honda. An ignition box, a residence window and a door to a residence, each valued at $500, were reported damaged.

An officer responded to a call of an attempted vehicle burglary April 6 at 4:37 a.m. in the 600 block of North Kentucky Avenue. A driver’s side window valued at $1,000 on a 2016 Ram was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched to the 700 block of North Kentucky Avenue April 6 at 5:30 a.m. in reference to an attempted vehicle burglary. A driver’s side window valued at $1,000 on a 2018 Ram was reported damaged.

Officers responded in reference to criminal damage April 6 at 9 a.m. in the 1000 block of South Lea Avenue. Two walls valued at $200 were reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of West Walnut Street April 8 at 10:39 p.m. in reference to a robbery. A screen glass door valued at $109 and a double pane window valued at $500 were reported damaged. A Genesis Mountain bike valued at $300 was reported stolen.

An officer responded April 8 at noon to a call in the 900 block of North Atkinson Avenue in reference to criminal damage. A window valued at $100 on a green 2004 Honda Civic was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched April 9 at 6:14 a.m. to the 800 block of North Main Street in reference to an unknown trouble. A rear driver side window valued at $500 on a black Ford Raptor, the driver’s side window valued at $500 on a red Ford Mustang and a small driver side window valued at $500 on a gray Ford Mustang were reported damaged.

Police responded April 9 at 8:10 a.m. in reference to criminal damage that occurred in the 1500 block of West Alameda Street. A window valued at $100 was reported damaged.

 

Larceny/theft

Police were dispatched to the 3000 block of South Main Street April 3 at 9:44 a.m. in reference to a larceny of a vehicle. A 2009 Dodge flatbed was reported stolen.

An officer responded April 3 at 8:15 a.m. to a follow up of a robbery that occurred in the 1000 block of South Mulberry Avenue in which a cellphone valued at $100 was reported stolen.

Police responded April 5 at 12:49 p.m. in the 300 block of East Matthews Street in reference to a larceny. A window air conditioning unit valued at $300 and a lawnmower valued at $200 were reported stolen.

Officers responded April 5 at 5:57 p.m. in reference to the unlawful taking of a vehicle that occurred in the 1200 block of West Second Street. A 2019 Honda Civic was reported stolen.

Police responded April 6 at 11:26 a.m. to a report of an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. A 2015 Honda CRS was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched April 7 at 10:50 a.m. in reference to a larceny that occurred in the 1100 block of East Walnut Street. A Samsung J2 cellular phone valued at $300 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched April 7 at 9:56 a.m. to a call in the 200 block of Sherrill Lane in reference to the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. A 2008 Beamer motor scooter valued at $700 was reported stolen.

An officer responded April 8 at 2:30 p.m. to a call in the 500 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue in reference to a vehicle burglary. Cash in the amount of $400, a driver’s license valued at $10, credit and debit cards valued at $5 and a wallet valued at $10 were reported stolen.

Police responded April 9 at 3:34 p.m. to a call in the 1800 block of North Main Street in reference to a burglary. Storage windows valued at $200 were reported damaged and a power washer valued at $329 was reported stolen.

Officers were dispatched to the Roswell Police Department April 9 at 9:57 a.m. in reference to a larceny that occurred in the 4500 block of North Main Street. A wallet/phone case valued at $25 and a Vivo cell phone valued at $550 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 900 block of North Atkinson Avenue April 9 at 4:20 p.m. in reference to a stolen bicycle. A bicycle valued at $45 and jewelry and precious metals valued at $80 were both reported stolen.
