Juan ‘Tenorio’ Romero, Jr.

JUAN “TENORIO” ROMERO, JR., 63, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Juan’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: There will be a Viewing for Juan at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Friday, April 17, 2020, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at South Park Cemetery on Saturday, April 18, 2020, at 11:00 AM.

On September 11, 1956, Juan was born to Juan Sr. and Maria Estrada Romero in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He was the beloved life-long companion of Mary Archuleta, with whom he shared many years. Juan was a hard worker, and his life was dedicated to being a great provider for his family. He was a construction worker that worked for both Armando Matta Construction and Tony Rodriguez Construction.

A man of the Catholic faith, Juan was family-oriented and loved spending time with his grandchildren, they were the light of his life. His favorite hobbies were singing and dancing. Juan’s presence will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

SURVIVORS: Left behind to treasure their memories of Juan are his life-long companion, Mary Archuleta; children: Carlos and wife Monica, Mario and wife Sarah, Jason and wife Angelica, Savannah, and Roxanna; grandchildren: Nathaniel, Joseph, Genesis, Isaiah, Leah, Mariah, Erik, and Isaac; siblings: Lorenza, Robert and wife Stella, David, Roy, Sammy and wife Donna, and Ralph; loving pet, Dumbo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

PRECEDED: Preceding Juan in death are his parents, Juan Sr. and Maria Estrada Romero; grandparents: Audon and Martina Romero; siblings: Raymond and Ruby; sister-in-law, Yolanda Romero; brother-in-law, Paul “Boola” Archuleta; as well as his nephew, Robby.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Chosen to serve as Honorary Pallbearers are Leah Romero, Isaiah Romero, Roy Romero, Ralph Romero, Genesis Montoya, David Romero Sr., Rodney Romero, Sammy Romero Jr., Mariah Romero, Micheal Ramon, Jason Rodriguez, Matthew Romero, Paul Romero, Jeffrey Romero, Charles Day, Leroy Archuleta, Frank “Poncho” Archuleta, Ray Romero, and Robert Romero.

PALLBEARERS: Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Carlos Romero, Mario Romero, Joseph Romero, Nathaniel Aguilar, Savannah Romero, David Romero Jr., Sam Romero, Israel Archuleta, Andrew Valadez, and Danny Boy Archuleta.
