DONNA KAYE (SMITH) MURRAY, 65, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, April 10, 2020, in Roswell, New Mexico. Due to the current social restrictions, no services will be held. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Donna’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

On November 15, 1954, Donna was born to Donald L. and Rosah Faye Smith in Roswell, New Mexico. She was a housewife who loved her family and friends; she adored her grandchildren. Donna enjoyed going to the casino and worked at Variety Liquor & Lounge for several years. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing. Donna will be deeply missed by many, especially by those who had the honor to know her.

SURVIVORS: Left to treasure memories of Donna are her beloved companion, Peter Hadsall of Roswell, New Mexico; children: Heather L. and husband Jason L. Wagner of Hobbs, New Mexico, Stacey L. and husband Brandon M. Yazzie of Bloomington, Indiana; grandchildren: Rachel N. Wagner, Leah B. Wagner, Nehemiah B. Yazzie, and Zechariah B. Yazzie; siblings: Avice E.Smith of Victoria, Texas; Sherman C. Smith, Vavial and husband Joe Reynolds, Daniel W. and wife Deana Smith all of Roswell, New Mexico; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; lifelong close friend, Leona Montgomery of Roswell, New Mexico; former sister-in-law Janice Patterson Brown; former sister-in-law, Barbara Murray Ross and husband Ronnie Ross; former brother-in-law, Donald Murray and his wife Willie Murray; as well as many friends within the community.

PRECEDED: Donna is Preceded in death by her former husband, Larry B. Murray; former brother-in-law Elmer Lee Murray; brother-in-law William Smith, parents, Donald L. and Rosah Faye Smith; paternal grandparents: Claud Elmer Smith and Edith O’Donald Smith; maternal grandparents: Mardie Calvin Brandon and Avice Lee (Hubbard) Brandon.

Donna’s family wishes to extend a sincere “Thank You” to family and friends that expressed their condolences and support.
