The State of New Mexico has established a counseling phone line specifically for health care workers and first responders.

Operated by the New Mexico Crisis and Support Access Line, the 24/7 phone service will link health care workers and first responders to professional counselors to talk about the challenges they are facing due to the COVID-19 situation at home or at work.

Callers also can discuss concerns they have about other people in their lives.

The service is free and confidential. The number is 855-507-5509.
