The Roswell Police Department’s new K9 Unit is now on duty after the drug-detecting dogs and their handlers completed training. The K9 Unit has already been called into action, helping investigators to locate drugs in a case that resulted in an arrest and the seizure of not only drugs, but cash and guns, according to a press release issued by the department.

The K9 handlers and K9s are now on patrol and working assigned shifts. The Roswell Police Department joins its K-9 handlers in thanking the community for its support and the generous donations that funded this program.
