Woman arrested after damaging phone line

Chastadie Antoinette Contreras was charged with criminal damage to property April 28 at 1:51 p.m. after she allegedly damaged a phone line valued at $750 in the Roswell Municipal Court building.

Matthew Artiaga was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs April 30 at 3:35 a.m. in the 1300 block of West 14th Street.

Sparklle Naomi Briseno was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs May 1 at 3:29 a.m. in the 1200 block of North Kansas Avenue.

Franchesca Romero was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs April 29 at 6:38 p.m. in the 500 block of South Beech Avenue.

 

Arson/criminal damage

Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Mesa Avenue April 24 at 1:45 p.m. in reference to a domestic disturbance. A windshield valued at $200 on a GMC Sierra was reported damaged.

An officer responded to the zero block of Alden Place April 24 at 11:02 p.m in reference to criminal damage. Windows valued at $100 were reported damaged.

An officer responded April 24 at 6:47 p.m. to a call in the 700 block of East Third Street in reference to a vehicle burglary. A Bose speaker valued at $300 was reported stolen and a cup holder valued at $500 was reported damaged.

Police were contacted by telephone April 25 at 5:23 a.m. in reference to an incident in the 2200 block of South Union Avenue. A 2010 Ford valued at $5,000 was reported damaged.

Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of North Missouri Avenue April 26 at 7:17 a.m. in reference to criminal damage. A mailbox valued at $200 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 900 block of North Washington Avenue April 26 at 8:58 a.m. in reference to criminal damage. A mailbox valued at $100 was reported damaged.

Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of South Louisiana Avenue April 26 at 10:45 a.m. in reference to a stolen vehicle. A bumper valued at $100 was reported damaged on a 2010 Chevy.

An officer responded to the 500 block of South Lea Avenue April 27 at 12:34 a.m. in reference to criminal damage. Three tires with a combined value of $219 were reported stolen.

Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of East Fifth Street April 27 at 1:59 a.m. in reference to a burglary in-progress. Two windows with a combined value of $1,400 were reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of North Main Street April 28 at 9:57 a.m in reference to criminal damage. A window valued at $8,000 was reported damaged.

Officers responded April 28 at 2:34 p.m. to a criminal damage call in the 200 block of North Garden Avenue. A video surveillance camera valued at $200 was reported damaged.

Police responded April 29 at 3:11 p.m. to a criminal damage call in the 500 block of West Hobbs Street. A passenger side window valued at $450 on a 2016 Dodge was reported damaged.

 

Larceny/theft

Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue April 24 at 11:45 a.m. in reference to a larceny call. A Wagner paint sprayer valued at $210 and a Black and Decker Trimmer valued at $40 were reported stolen.

Police responded to a call in the 3800 block of South Main Street April 29 at 10:40 a.m. in reference to an embezzlement. Cigars and cigarettes valued at $1,750 were reported stolen.

An officer responded April 25 at 8:19 a.m. to a vehicle burglary in the 1200 block of North Union Avenue. A .38 special handgun valued at $500 was reported stolen from a 2016 Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Police responded to a call in reference to a larceny in the 1300 block of North Main Street April 25 at 1:46 p.m. A surveillance camera valued at $300 was reported stolen.

Officers responded April 27 at 12:42 p.m. to a larceny in the 500 block of East 19th Street. A portable sewing machine valued at $100, a 55-inch television valued at $500, a compound portable saw valued at $100, an internet router valued at $50, a microwave valued at $50, a compound mitre saw valued at $50, and a scroll saw valued at $50 were all reported stolen.

Police responded April 27 at 1:24 p.m. to a larceny that happened in the 700 block of South Adams Drive. Three security lights with a combined value of $450 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 500 block of East 19th Street April 28 at 11:23 a.m. in reference to a burglary. Comic books valued at $1,000 and a sculpture valued at $600 were reported stolen.

Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of East Alameda Street April 28 at 11:49 p.m. in reference to a larceny. A Shockwave bicycle valued at $101.90 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of East Byrne Street April 29 at 8:28 a.m. in reference to a vehicle burglary. Cash in the amount of $180, a Nintendo DS 3D valued at $120 and a flashlight valued at $50 were reported stolen.

Police responded April 29 at 7:12 p.m. to a call of an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle in the 300 block of Three Cross Road. A 2011 Nissan Rogue was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of North Virginia Avenue April 29 at 11:52 p.m. in reference to a larceny. A Craftsman toolbox and tools valued at $100 were reported stolen.
