BILLY L. DALTON, 90, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020, in Las Cruces, NM. Please take a moment to share a kind thought or memory with Bill’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: There will be a Visitation at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Friday, May 8, 2020, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at South Park Cemetery on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at 11:00 AM.

On April 26, 1930, Bill was born in Clovis, NM, to Walter S. (Dan) Dalton and Sallie Maud Dalton. He was raised in Roswell, NM, where he met his wife to be, Patsy Ruth Dalton, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage, before her passing in 2008. As a result of their happy union they had three beautiful daughters: Carolyn Sue, Susan Ann, and Melinda Faye, whom he loved dearly. Bill was blessed with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; they were his greatest joy.

Bill was a retired Pipe Fitter and member of the Local Pipefitters Union 412. His first job as a teenager was setting up the bowling pins at the local bowling alley. Bill had his own plumbing shop in Alamogordo, NM, before obtaining his apprenticeship in pipefitting, which was his trade for the remainder of his working career.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Bill are his daughters: Carolyn Sue Hepker and husband Robert (Bob) of Albuquerque, NM, Susan Ann Rethwisch and husband Thomas (Tom) of Las Cruces, NM, and Melinda Faye Terrell and husband Don of Mustang, OK; grandsons: Robby Hepker of Albuquerque, NM, Billy Jay Dalton of Tyler, TX, Jamey Hepker of Rio Rancho, NM, and Shane Terrell of Mustang, OK; granddaughter, Kristy Kaylen Hepker-Garcia of Albuquerque, NM; and great-grandchildren: Cody Hepker, Brenden Hepker, Kaden Garcia, Rebecca Dalton, Jamey Hepker, Jr. and Lexi Hepker.
