William P McIntosh IV

William P McIntosh IV was born November 2nd 1942. He passed away May 2nd, 2020 in Roswell, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents William P and Amolene McIntosh of Roswell and his son William P “Billy” McIntosh V.

William P McIntosh IV “Wild Bill” was born to William P and Amolene McIntosh in Hobbs, NM. He grew up in Datil, NM on his father’s ranch. He graduated from Magdalena High School June 3rd 1960. Bill moved to Wilcox AZ, Tempe AZ, and Hemingford Nebraska where he married his first wife Betty Parkin and had his two children Jenifer McIntosh and William P McIntosh V. In 1973 they moved to Roswell, NM. In 1982 Bill married his current wife Shirley Robins where he welcomed with open arms two more children Carrie Milstead and Jaime Ambs. Bill has worked in multiple trades from trucking, to owning a diesel mechanic shop, to operating what he is best known for AA Parts and Machine.

Bill is loved and respected by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He loved racing where he became known as “Wild Bill” McIntosh. Bill also has a love for restoring and looking for antique cars. He was always willing to teach and look past people’s faults to help people succeed in their futures.

Pallbearers are William P McIntosh VI, Arthur Luna, Presley Biggers, Zachary Harper, Spencer Robins, and Martin Wilcox. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Sikes and Roger Whitcamp. Bill is survived by his wife Shirley McIntosh of Roswell, His daughters Jenifer McIntosh of Roswell, Carrie and Brian Milstead of Dallas, TX, and Jaime and Peter Ambs of Roswell, NM. His Grandchildren William P McIntosh VI, Jordan Reimers, Presley Biggers, Jessica Biggers, Zachary Harper, Jazin Milstead, Spencer Robins, and Allie Ambs. Great Grandchildren Jarrett, Landon and Maddie. His brother Dave McIntosh and wife Peggy of Roswell, Sisters Merry & Lee Ledbetter of Rio Rancho, NM, Marcia Mcintosh Tidwell and husband Trey of Roswell, NM and Cindy & Bill Polk of Artesia & many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for William P McIntosh IV for family only due to COVID-19 restrictions will be at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Friday May 8th, 2020 at 10:00 am. Grave side services will follow at South Park Cemetery at 10:45 am to the public for anyone willing to pay their respects. The family would like to invite anyone & everyone to his home after services to celebrate his life.
