Community Planting Day

Lisa Dunlap Photo Juliana Halvorson, a MainStreet Roswell board member and Pioneer Bank vice president, prepares to take some flowers to another portion of North Main Street Saturday morning as MainStreet Roswell conducts its annual community planting day. This year was a scaled-down version, but about a dozen volunteers with Pioneer Bank and the International UFO Museum and Research Center put greenery and flowers in planters in front of downtown businesses from Fifth Street to First Street. Keep Chaves County Beautiful purchased the supplies from Roswell Seed Co.
