Sharon Haldiman passed away peacefully in her sleep in the morning of Monday, May 18, 2020, at her home in Roswell, NM.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 10AM on the Southwest side of South Park Cemetery. Due to Covid-19, social distancing guidelines will be in place, but there will be no limit to the amount of people that can attend. We will be having a lunch at the home of Sharon Haldiman after the service on a come and go type basis, due to the current circumstances. People are more than welcome to join us at either location.
Sharon was born in Jefferson City, Missouri on May 2, 1937. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and sister. She was a loving soul with a kick of spunk. Sharon retired from the police department but stated her favorite job was being the secretary for the mayor, Tom Jennings. She became very close with him and his family. Sharon lived a hard, but amazing life.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father Truman Haldiman, mother and stepfather: Mac and Effie McCracken; her children Jeanne Cox, and Kenni Jasper.
She is survived by her children: James Cox, Steven and Jennifer Cox, Anna and Lacee Orona, and Jeff Jasper; grandchildren: August Orona, Lori Elias, Christopher Chavez and Larry Strauss, Kathleen and Kaleb Wright, and Stefani Cox; great grandchildren: Natalie Elias, Kash Wright and Kensington Wright; brother and sister in law: Truman Dale and Beverly Haldiman; stepsister Caroly Adriance; her nephew Aaron Haldiman.
Sharon felt love by so many people around her. Now, she is no longer suffering from pain. She is able to be with her parents and her children, but she will be greatly missed.
