I’m Free

Don’t grieve for me,

for now, I’m free,

I’m following the path

God laid for me.

I took his hand when

I heard his call,

I turned my back

and left it all.

I could not stay

another day,

Tasks left undone must stay that way,

I’ve found that peace I yearned for at the close

of the day.

If my parting has

left a void,

Then fill it with

remembered joy.

A friendship shared,

a laugh, a kiss,

Ah, yes, these things

I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,

I wish you the

sunshine of tomorrow.

My Life’s been full, I savoured much,

Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch,

Perhaps my time

seemed all too brief,

Don’t lengthen it now

with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and share with me,

God wanted me now,

He set me free.

Mother & Son —

Just a Dream Away

I would give my life to have you back,

Said the Mom

I know you would,

said her child.

I cry each night for you, said the Mom

And I catch all of your tears said her child

I pray for the day

That I can see you again,

Said the Mom

Just close your eyes,

and you can see me,

Said her child

I am always just a

dream away………….

You are the first person who loved me,

And you are the

first person I loved.

You were always there

when I needed you,

And you always knew

when I needed a hug.

I am here for

you now, Mom

In your heart and

in your soul.

I did not take your

heart with me

Instead, I left mine

with you to hold.

One day I will

take your hand

And lead you to paradise,

But until then my

beautiful mother,

When you want to see me

You only need to

close your eyes.

I am always just a

dream away…..

2 Corinthians 5:8

We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
