The City of Roswell issued a press release Thursday stating the Solid Waste Department has rectified operational issues that resulted in delays and omissions in trash pick-up in certain parts of the city the last couple weeks.

All trash pick-up should be caught up this week, according to the press release. The city and Solid Waste Department apologized in the release for the inconvenience to customers.

The trash pick-up schedule remains the same as it has been, with the south side of the city having pick-up on Mondays and Thursdays while the north side of the city has pick-up on Tuesdays and Fridays. Citizens with individual rollout trash containers should have them placed at the curb by 6 a.m. each collection day for pick-up.

To confirm the trash pick-up schedule for a specific address or ask any other sanitation-related questions, call the Solid Waste Department at 575-624-6746.

To report issues regarding trash pick-up or other sanitation-related concerns, use the FixIT Form on the City of Roswell website or call the Solid Waste Department. The form is found at roswell-nm.gov/Fix-It.
