RICHARD ALEXANDER VILLARD, 91, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020, in Roswell, New Mexico. There will be a private Celebration of Life for family only. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Richard’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

On February 16, 1929, Richard was born to Reb Leroy and Mary Katherine Villard in Roswell, NM. He graduated from Roswell High School. Prior to retirement, Richard worked in the Real Estate industry for Red Worley Mobile Homes. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Richard was also a member of both the VFW and Gold Circle. He showed great interest in the Roswell Humane Society. Richard was a regular at Peppers Restaurant, he enjoyed visiting with all his friends. He was a Denver Broncos fan who enjoyed watching them play. Richard will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

SURVIVORS: Left to treasure memories of Richard are his son, Lee; daughters: Lisa and Vanessa; stepdaughter, Sandra K. Walters; grandchildren: Jeri Hilton, Toni Walkowski, and Sharon Everett; great-grandchildren: Autumn, Amber, Matthew, Tyler, and Jordan; nieces: Missy McMinn and Kim Pooley; nephews: Reb Clark and James Villard; close friends: Audrey Cottrell, Joni and George Rivera, staff and owners of Peppers, and Brett Hewitt; as well as his precious kitty, Socks.

PRECEDED: Richard is Preceded in death by his wife, Lela Mary Villard; parents: Reb Leroy and Mary Katherine Villard; stepson, Rocky Clayton; brother, Jack Villard; and his sister, Jane Clark.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Roswell Humane Society.
