Burglars take TV, lawnmower from Hickory Drive

The following public records are from the Roswell Police Department and can be viewed at rpdp2c.org. All people arrested or cited are presumed innocent.

Police responded July 18 at 5:40 p.m. to a burglary forced entry in the 800 block of Hickory Drive. A Sony TV valued at $500 and a Black and Decker lawnmower valued at $250 were both reported stolen.

 

Arrests/citations

Flabio Herrera was charged with trafficking a controlled substance; heroin, cocaine, morphine July 17 at 11:15 p.m. in the 400 block of East Van Buren Street.

Daniel Elijah Perez was charged with reckless driving July 18 at 1:15 a.m. in the 600 block of East Summit Street.

Gerald Gallegos was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs July 18 at 5:40 p.m. in the area of West 16th Street and Washington Avenue.

Clara Rose Washman was charged with the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle July 19 at 3:49 p.m. in the 100 block of East Darby Road.

Josephine Angelica Calanche was charged with controlled substances; possession prohibited July 21 at 6:17 p.m. in the 2100 block of West Second Street.

Gregory E. Maestas was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs July 23 at 5:55 a.m. in the area of North Main Street.

 

Criminal damage

Police were dispatched July 18 at 12:04 a.m. to the 200 block of Poplar Avenue in reference to criminal damage. A window valued at $100 was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched July 19 at 11:04 a.m. to the zero block of Ray Place. A windshield valued at $300 on a 2019 GMC Sierra was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched July 19 at 10:08 a.m. to the 3700 block of North Garden Avenue in reference to criminal damage. A rear glass window valued at $100 on a 2014 Honda Accord was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched July 19 at 11:04 p.m. to the zero block of Ray Place. A windshield valued at $300 on a 2019 GMC Sierra was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched July 19 at 1:36 a.m. to the 100 block of North Kansas Avenue in reference to criminal damage. An apartment window valued at $150 was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched July 21 at 8:28 a.m. to the 3200 block of North Kentucky Avenue in reference to criminal damage. A Coleman residential air-conditioning unit valued at $2,000 was reported damaged.

Police responded July 19 at 11:40 p.m. to the 3700 block of North Garden Avenue in reference to criminal damage. A rear glass window valued at $100 on a 2014 Honda Accord was reported damaged.

 

Larceny/theft

Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of West Summit Street July 17 at 5:28 p.m. in reference to larceny. A bicycle valued at $100 was reported stolen.

An officer responded July 18 at 12:20 a.m. to a burglary in the 2500 block of West Second Street. Copper piping valued at $100 was reported stolen.

An officer responded July 19 at 5:52 a.m. to the 500 block of West Hobbs Street in reference larceny. A bicycle valued at $100 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched July 19 at 1:31 p.m. to the 1800 block of East Country Club Road in reference to the unlawful taking of a vehicle. A 2018 Chevy Silverado pickup truck was reported stolen.

An officer responded July 20 at 1:04 p.m. to a vehicle burglary in the 300 block of East Reed Street. Cash in the amount of $300 and numerous cards were reported stolen.

Police responded July 20 at 7:49 p.m. to a report of the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle from an 1100 block of East Wells Street address. A motor scooter was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched July 21 at 5:51 p.m. to the 200 block of West Berrendo Road in reference to a vehicle burglary. A red Kodak camera valued at $150 along with five knives with a combined value of $430 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched July 21 at 6:40 a.m. to the 400 block of North Mulberry Street in reference to a vehicle burglary of a 1995 Ford Bronco. Master keys to the New Mexico Military Institute along with prescription eyeglasses valued at $150 were reported stolen. A driver’s side window and the inside paneling of the vehicle, each valued at $150, were also reported damaged.

An officer responded July 21 at 10:01 a.m. to larceny from a building that occurred in the 300 block of East Third Street. A cellphone valued at $100 was reported stolen.

Police responded July 23 at 4:24 p.m. to the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle in the 1900 block of West First Street. A 2003 Chrysler Town and Country minivan was reported stolen.
