Sheriff’s Office seeks public’s help in locating missing woman

The Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for any information that could help find a missing woman last seen in Chaves County.

In a press release early Sunday, the New Mexico State Police announced the Chaves County Sheriff’s Office had issued a Missing Endangered Person Advisory for Sarah Harless, 38.

“Sarah Harless is MISSING and is believed to be in DANGER if not located,” the release states.

Harless, the release states, was last seen June 22 at about 11 p.m. walking along State Road 2 in Chaves County. It is believed she was possibly heading to Tyler or Winnsboro, Texas

She is described as Caucasian and 5 feet, 3 inches tall, and 140 pounds with blonde hair and brown eyes. Harless also has a dragon tattoo on her stomach.

When last seen, the release states, Harless was wearing a purple bandana, a multi-colored black T-shirt, navy blue pants and a pair of white and gray Nike shoes.

People with information that could lead to Harless’ location should contact the Chaves County Sheriff’s Office at 575-624-7602, or dial 911.
