BOBBIE LOUISE WILLIS, 82, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020, in Roswell, New Mexico. Honoring Bobbie’s wishes, a private graveside service was held. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Bobbie’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

On April 15, 1933, Bobbie was born to Dub and Ruby Lair in Roswell, New Mexico. She graduated from Roswell High School. Bobbie attended college at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell and received a degree in nursing. Prior to retirement, Bobbie worked over thirty years at St. Mary’s Hospital of Roswell, New Mexico, as a Registered Nurse. She was very talented in the Arts, Bobbie loved calligraphy and mosaic. Bobbie will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Bobbie are her children: Douglas R. Hite and wife Kaye Nations, Sara Elio, and Marc Willis; grandchildren: Johnny R. Hite, Jackie L. Hite, Jason Taylor, Jessica Nash-Brice, and Milton Herrington; great-grandchildren: Jaidan Hite, Kayla Hite, Madison Hite, Janice Nash, Emily Nash, Joshua Devine, Faith Herrington, Hope Herrington, and Luke Herrington; and his brother, Dick Lair.

PRECEDED: Bobbie was preceded in death by her husbands: Elmer Willis and John Hite; son, Thomas Lynn Hite; daughter, Cynthia Sue Taylor; parents, Dub and Ruby Lair; sister, Polly Porter; and brother, Danny Lair.

The family would like to give a special “Thanks” to Casa Maria Health Care Center for their excellent care that was given to Bobbie.
