RAYMOND LEWIS SMITH, 60, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a fond memory or thoughtful expression of sympathy for Raymond’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: A Graveside Service will be held at South Park Cemetery on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at 10:00 AM.

On May 23, 1960, Raymond was born to Melvin and Mary Morgan in Shamrock, Texas. After graduating from Roswell High School, he decided to continue his education and later received a Business Degree. Raymond was a dedicated employee who worked for many years at Wal-Mart. He was athletic in his younger years and enjoyed boxing, fighting Kung-Fu, and volunteering for the Old Boys Club. Raymond was a sports lover who enjoyed going to the Hike It and Spike It and Gus Macker events. He loved to ride his bike and watch movies with his nieces and nephews. Raymond’s loved ones will always have a special place in their heart that will live on forever.

SURVIVORS: Those left to treasure and cherish memories of Raymond are his sisters: Wanda Smith, Mary Morgan, and Annie Morgan; as well as nine nephews and five nieces.

PRECEDED: Raymond is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Morgan; brothers: Robert Smith and Richard Morgan; and his sister, Melva Smith.
