Extended ladder reported stolen in burglary

The following public records are from the Roswell Police Department and can be viewed at rpdp2c.org. All people arrested or cited are presumed innocent.

An officer responded to a burglary call in the 1100 block of East Second Street Aug. 24 at 6:19 a.m. A 20-foot extendable ladder valued at $200 was reported stolen and a lock valued at $40 reported damaged.

Arrests/citations

Samuel Herrera was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of liquor or drugs Aug. 22 at 12:26 a.m. in the 200 block of West Hendricks Street.

Salvador Thomas Horton was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Aug. 22 at 12:32 a.m. in the 2000 block of North Main Street.

Ismael Ornelas was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Aug. 22 at 12:55 a.m. in the 2000 block of South Washington Avenue.

Marisol Coronado was charged with controlled substances possession prohibited Aug. 24 at 2:11 a.m. in the 200 block of West Forest Street.

Toby Trujillo Horton was charged with criminal sexual penetration Aug. 25 at 9:38 a.m. in the 3700 block of South Atkinson Avenue.

Carlos Ruben Ramirez was charged with shooting at a dwelling, occupied building or from a motor vehicle Aug. 26 at 5:57 a.m. in the 800 block of West Summit Street.

Criminal damage

Police responded to a call of an intoxicated subject Aug. 21 at 6:53 a.m. in the 1100 block of South Washington Avenue. A screen door valued at $150 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of South Kentucky Avenue Aug. 23 at 9:33 a.m. in reference to criminal damage. Four tires with a combined value of $650 were reported damaged.

Police responded to a criminal damage call in the 1100 block of North Missouri Avenue Aug. 22 at 1:28 p.m. A rear windshield valued at $200 on a 2004 Infiniti Sedan was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to the 4600 block of North Main Street Aug. 24 at 7:49 a.m. in reference to an attempted vehicle burglary and criminal damage. A fence was reported as having sustained $100 in damage.

Police responded to a criminal damage complaint in the 2800 block of North Main Street Aug. 23 at 9:02 a.m. A steel grate covering valued at $1,000 was reported damaged.

An officer was called to the zero block of Holloman Place Aug. 23 at 9:28 a.m. for a welfare check. A cellphone SIM card valued at $100 was reported damaged in a criminal damage incident that occurred in the 100 block of North Lea Avenue.

Police responded to a shots-fired call in the 1100 block of Brown Street Aug. 24 at 2:44 a.m. A door knob valued at $25, a front door valued at $200 and a fence valued at $100 were all reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of South Purdue Drive Aug. 26 at 4:42 p.m. in reference to a criminal damage call. A rear window valued at $1,200 on a 2013 Dodge was reported damaged.

Larceny/theft

Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of South Fulkerson Drive Aug. 22 at 2:06 p.m. in reference to the burglary of a 2006 Toyota Tacoma. Two Dewalt batteries with a combined value of $198, a Sperry Wire set valued at $40, a Sperry cable valued at $40, a Cat cable crimper tool valued at $50, a 2-inch hole saw bit valued at $20, wire fish tape valued at $50, a Milwaukee tool bag valued at $80, tin snips valued at $30 and a punch down tool valued at $50 were all reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of South Virginia Avenue Aug. 21 at 5:51 a.m. in reference to a burglary. A staple gun valued at $300 and a nail gun valued at $400 were reported stolen. A wall valued at $100 was reported damaged.

Police responded to a vehicle burglary call Aug. 21 at 8:37 p.m. in the 400 block of South Hemlock Avenue. A firearm valued at $419.47 was reported stolen from a 2007 Chevy. A door on the vehicle, valued at $100, was also reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of North Sycamore Avenue Aug. 22 at 9:26 a.m. in reference to the burglary of a storage unit. A uniform valued at $100, a Sena motorcycle Bluetooth communication set valued at $200 and a tote with a motorcycle communication box valued at $10 were reported stolen.

Police responded to a burglary call Aug. 22 at 9:37 a.m. in the 1100 block of West First Street. Four tire rims with a combined value of $400 were reported stolen, while a door valued at $50 and a fence gate at $100 were reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of West Ninth Street Aug. 23 at 9:28 a.m. in reference to a vehicle burglary. Cash in the amount of $700, a Michael Kors purse valued at $100, along with a driver’s license, keys, Social Security cards, credit and debit cards were all reported stolen.

Police responded to a call in the 300 block of West Mescalero Road Aug. 23 at 12:17 a.m. in reference to the vehicle burglary of a 2015 Ford. A Dell laptop valued at $1,500; an Apple iPhone valued at $1,000; a backpack valued at $50 and an OtterBox cellphone case valued at $50 were all reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Linda Circle Aug. 24 at 5:04 a.m. in reference to a vehicle burglary. A black Taurus 9mm handgun valued at $200 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of South Barnett Drive Aug. 24 at 7:55 a.m. in reference to a larceny from a motor vehicle and criminal damage. A Sportsmen 4000 generator valued at $400 was reported stolen and a padlock valued at $10 reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to assist someone at the Roswell Police Department Aug. 24 at 10:44 a.m. in reference to the vehicle burglary of a 2017 Lexis that occurred in the 4600 block of North Main Street. Glasses valued at $50, a pocket knife valued at $40, two Sonic gift cards valued at $25, cleaning supplies valued at $50, along with a box cutter and double-sided tape, a basket of masks and hand sanitizers and 24 pairs of gloves were all reported stolen.
