Michael ‘Mike’ Alexander Sarto

An Air Force Veteran, MICHAEL “MIKE” ALEXANDER SARTO, 88, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at his home in Roswell, New Mexico, surrounded by friends and family. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Mike’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

In honor of Mike’s wishes, no services will be held. He wanted to be remembered just the way you saw him last. His remains will be in the columbarium of General Douglas L. McBride Veterans Cemetery.

On October 31, 1931, Mike was born to Antonio and Anna Sarto in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He served in the United States Air Force for over twenty years. Prior to retirement, Mike worked for the City of Roswell and Recreation. His hobbies included collecting classic cars, especially Volkswagons. Mike was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Mike’s are his daughter, Sandra Grice and husband Wade; three grandchildren; a niece; as well as numerous nephews.

PRECEDED: Mike is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose; parents, Antonio and Anna Sarto; and his son, Michael La Bella.
