CRISTAL LEE AGUILAR, 38, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Cristal’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: There will be a Viewing for Cristal at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Monday, September 14, 2020, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

On June 9, 1982, Cristal was born to Stephen Aguilar and Ermalinda Duran in Roswell, New Mexico. She was a member of Waymaker Church. Cristal genuinely loved and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved holidays, especially making gifts for everyone. Cristal liked to party and listen to music of all kinds. She was a Dallas Cowboy fan who enjoyed watching their games. Cristal will be immensely missed by her children, loved ones, and friends.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Cristal are all her children: Daniel Ray, Destiny Nicole, Israel, Isela, Elsa, and Timothy; grandson, Israel Jr.; mother, Ermalinda Duran; grandmother, Isabel Aguirre; siblings: Ralph Orlando Melendez, Stephanie Salazar and husband Joshua, and Stephen Jr. Aguilar; aunts and uncles: Margie Ramirez and fiancé David of Roswell, Louie Gonzales and Judy Gonzales of Roswell, Hiram and Gloria Ortega of Idaho, Dorothy Olivares, Donna Gonzales, Eva Aguilar and fiancé Tony, and Stella Dutchover all of Roswell; nieces and nephews: Santiago Juarez, Angel Villines, April Melendez, Emanual Melendez, Cristal Melendez Garcia, Shyenne Melendez, Katrina Lopez, Marissa Lujan, Elisha Herrera, Jericho Ortega Aguilar, Diego Estrada, Brielle Aguilar; as well as several close friends.

PRECEDED: Cristal was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Aguilar; grandparents: Cruzita Trujillo, Eddie Aguilar (Shorty), and Juan Ramirez; great-grandparents: Francisca Serna, Vicente Aragon, Ralph Salcido, Catrina Salcido, Gene Aguilar, and Concha Aguilar.
