Kay was born September 1, 1939 in Ropesville, Texas and moved to Roswell as a small child. She passed away September 3, 2020 in Arvada, Colorado.

Kay was a resident of Golden, Colorado at the time of her passing. She graduated from Roswell High School in 1957. Kay worked at the Chaves County Courthouse for many years before moving to Colorado.

In 1959 Kay married the love of her life, Kenneth E Willis, of Roswell, New Mexico. They had two children: Sabrina Kay Willis and Todd Lamar Willis. Kay loved her family and a good Bridge game. She was a kind and generous wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved life and all it had to offer. She always had a kind word for everyone. She will be missed by everyone she touched.

Kay is preceded in death by her parents, Clovis and Imagee Kizer and brothers Marion Gee Kizer and Gerald Kizer. She is survived by her brother, Mack Kizer of Ruidoso, New Mexico, sister in law, Jean Willis of Roswell, New Mexico, two children, Sabrina Kay Willis and Todd Lamar Willis; daughter in law, Michelle Willis, grandchildren, Justin Michael Fears, wife Michelle Fears, Stephanie Kay Fears and great-grandson Declan Ross McCoy.
