Dr. Ed Leadingham, 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. He was born in Ashland, KY on November 8th, 1934 to Earnest and Laura. He graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1958, and moved to Roswell the same year to join his uncle Dr. T.E. Boggs in his practice. Ed, with his son’s, Dr. Ken Leadingham and Dr. Greg Leadingham were owners of Leadingham Vision Center in Roswell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Bette Leadingham, his sister Barbara Poe and her husband Jim, Dr. Ken Leadingham of Roswell and daughter Cynthia Leadingham who resides in Houston, TX. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Mishawn Leadingham.

He is preceded in death by his sons Dr. Greg Leadingham, Allen Leadingham, and their mother Kay. He was also preceded in death by his 5 siblings, Clifford, Henry, Lillian, Randi and Estie. Left to cherish the memory of Ed were many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as close friends, golfing buddies, employees, and patients.

Arrangements have been entrusted to LaGrone Funeral Chapel and Crematory. If you would like, please donate to First Tee of the Pecos Valley, www.firstteesoutheasternnewmexico.org, in lieu of flowers. A family grave side service will be held at a later date. Ed brought humor, strength, and love to everyone around him and he will be forever missed and cherished. We know he is in heaven standing on the 1st tee with his boys at his side.
