DOMINGO ROMERO, 64, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Domingo’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: A Memorial Service for Domingo will be held at Tobosa Developmental Services, 110 N. Richardson, Roswell, New Mexico, on Thursday, October 15, 2020, come and go between 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Practice social distancing and mask usage at all times.

On July 1, 1956, Domingo was born to Carmelita Romero in Clayton, New Mexico. He was a longtime resident of Roswell, New Mexico, and received support from Tobosa Developmental Services for over forty years. Domingo received many awards during those years. The most recent award he received was the “Jim Thomas Award” for being the first individual to demonstrate the ability to live independently. Domingo was very proud of his accomplishments. He enjoyed bowling and spending time with his friends. Collecting cans made Domingo very happy; he loved having a little extra spending money. He will be profoundly missed by his friends and all who were honored to have known Domingo.

SURVIVORS: Left to treasure memories of Domingo are his father Mo Romero; brother, Francisco Romero and wife Margaret; sisters: Modesta Vigil and husband Michael and Mary Skidmore and husband Bruce; aunt, Mary Davis of Albuquerque, New Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as his close friends: Martin Eudy, Victor Patterson, Tim Appel, and Toby Appel.

PRECEDED: Domingo is Preceded in death by his mother, Carmelita Romero; and uncle, Joe Davis.
