Alice Palma-Armendariz, left, and Alejandra Garcia, board members of the Roswell Hispano Chamber of Commerce, decorate a display for Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, Friday at the Roswell Public Library. An adjacent table will display material explaining the holiday, celebrated on Nov. 1 and 2. Day of the Dead is a Mexican tradition to honor and remember family and friends who have died.
