A 19-year-old woman sustained injuries following a Sunday morning stabbing in Roswell.

Police officers were called to a local hospital Sunday at 4:15 a.m. in reference to a woman who was stabbed in the face, Todd Wildermuth, public information officer for the Roswell Police Department, said Monday.

He added that the victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

The victim was stabbed when a fight broke out during a party at a 300 block of South Sycamore Avenue residence. The woman was then taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
