Man wanted in connection with shots fired at building

A man suspected of firing numerous gunshots at an apartment building last month is the latest addition to the Roswell Police Department’s Roswell’s Most Wanted gallery of criminal suspects.

Enrique Ricky Arreola, 19, is charged with one count each of shooting from a motor vehicle and conspiracy to commit shooting from a motor vehicle, following a late October incident in which Arreola allegedly fired numerous gunshots at an 1100 block of East Brown Street apartment building, according to a press release issued Tuesday by the RPD.

“He is accused of shooting at the apartment as he and another person drove by in an SUV. The other suspect in this case has been arrested,” the release states.

No information was included in the release as to whether there were any injuries or damage that resulted from the shooting.

Arreola is described in the release as 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

People with information that could help locate the suspect are asked to contact RPD at 575-624-6770 or Chaves County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-594-8477.

The release states callers can remain anonymous and individuals who contact Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward should their information lead to an arrest or conviction.
